Waze connects the internet successfully but this message is appeared: "No GPS. Showing approximate location" and I can't use the map. GPS is on, location permission of Waze is on and even other map services like Google maps work fine with GPS. I've tried to reinstall the app and have set battery usage on no restriction but nothing has changed. Sometimes re-enabling the GPS fixes the Waze map not showing bug. Pull down the notification slider and disable the GPS. Some smartphones have Location rather than GPS. Disable it and re-enable after 10-15 seconds. Check if the Waze map reappears. 3) Update Waze. Check if there is any update available for Waze on the respective app stores.

When Waze says there’s no GPS, and it’s only showing your approximate location, you can try enabling your device’s location services, checking your data plan, or changing your data & time configurations. If that fails, you can also try updating the platform/your devices, or clearing the app’s cache.
Using BlueStacks To Download and Run Waze app for PC. Step 1- Go to your web browser and search ā€˜Bluestack android emulator’. The first link should take you to the official website of Bluestack. Step 2- Download the Bluestack android emulator on your PC by clicking on the link on the home page of the website. This should start the NO GPS. Cannot use WAZE or Maps Waze says there is no GPS and MAPS only shows approximate location. How do they know where I am when it says no GPS. I have an iphone 6s IOS 11.4.1 I toggled location services off and on. I do not want to do a hard reset. Has anyone found another solution?
Open the Settings app. In the search bar, type ā€œApp permissionsā€ and tap the result. Look for your microphone permissions and make sure they're turned on for Waze. Note: Steps may vary per device.
